Welcome to the Lancashire Combined Fire Authority Website

CC Robert Wilkinson
County Councillor Bob Wilkinson
Chairman of Fire Authority

The site gives you access to information about decisions the Authority has taken, or proposes to take in the coming months. Where possible it gives you access to decision documents, agendas and minutes.

We are an independent body whose main job is to provide an efficient and effective fire service for Lancashire. The Authority is made up of Councillors from the County Council, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Councils, and the site contains information on individual Councillors who serve on the Authority as well as a number of important key documents.

I hope you find the site interesting and useful. It has been designed to be user friendly and easy to navigate but if you require any help please click here.

A feedback facility has also been provided if you wish to express any views or make any comments on the design or content of this site.

RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN (RMP) 2008/11

Welcome to our Risk Management Plan (RMP) for the period 2008/11, which we hope will help everyone with an interest in the work of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service to understand what we are trying to achieve and why it is important.

As our key planning document, the RMP sets out our ambitions for the next three years explaining what direction we intend to take and how we plan to make Lancashire safer during this time. We are very grateful to a range of service users, staff and partners who responded during consultation and who contributed to this final version. To ensure the plan remains current, we will review and refresh the content on an annual basis.

As always, we value your opinion, so if you would like to comment, or require any additional information, please contact:
